Today is the 150th anniversary of Lee's surrender to Grant at Appomatox Court House.

I'm surprised how little the ACW has featured in the UK press over the last 4 years. I'd expected to see some documentary series, but perhaps Ken Burns said it all.

Must watch the DVDs again.

But, as someone who collects books on the ACW, it's amazing how many are still being written.
