How to be Sherlock Holmes

Just been watching this documentary on the BBC which was interesting, but I'm curious why at the end when they contrasted recent versions of Holmes, they mentioned Cumberbatch - the programme seemed to be a bit of a plug for the series - and Downey, but not the US TV series Elementary with Jonny Lee Miller.  Presumably there was some sort of contractual reason they couldn't mention it.  Ironic, really, seeing how Cumberbatch and Miller appeared together in Frankenstein at the National a few years ago
