I sometimes get questions passed to me by Amazon about a product I've bought, often clarifying a problem a customer, or prospective customer has. One item I bought recently has caused several questions so I was not surprised to see another one this morning.

Until I read the question:

"Anyone know how to get the diy setting on the remote to work? it doesn't let me adjust any rbg levels after pressing either of the diy buttons."

The item in question is an office chair.

Isn't it a bit silly that Amazon asks me to review gift voucher e-cards? And why, when I sent them to my nieces for Christmas, am I only being asked to review them now?

Every so often I get an e-mail from Amazon with recommendations, based on what I recently looked at on Amazon. And usually it turns out to be something I had just looked at on Amazon and decided I didn't want.

A case in point. After seeing the film Aniara this week, I checked to see if the epic poem it was based on was available. There were three options, one in English going for a small fortune, one in Spanish, and one in Chinese.

So, I received an e-mail just now saying Amazon recommends a copy of Aniara to me. It's the version in Chinese!

I wonder why Amazon is sending me messages of recommendations that includes  the BBC Proms 2018 Guide.  Its sole purpose is to tell you what concerts age going to be on during the season and how to book tickets.  The Last Night of the Proms was about five weeks ago.
